A 6 p.m. rain shower - and with the more rain forecasted throughout Friday night - forced Ransomville Speedway management to pull the plug on the opening night racing program.
Mat Williamson from St. Catharine s, Ontario, won his third consecutive track championship in the Krown Undercoating Modifieds last Friday. Derek Wagner, from Middleport, earned his second-straight Hy-Tech Concrete DIRTcar Sportsman track championship. Ken Camidge, from Niagara Falls, won his first KiPo Motors Street Stock championship.
Ransomville Speedway will be remembering one of its own this coming Friday night, Aug. 4, for the Sean Letts Memorial for the Hy-Tech Concrete Sportsman. The racing program features the Krown Undercoating Modifieds, KiPo Motors Street Stocks, Sunflowers of Sanborn Mini Stocks, and the Kevin s Carpet Cleaning Novice Sportsman.
