Tropical storm isaias just shy of hurricane strength is already being felt as it approaches south floridas east coast. Its a major concern in a state already struggling to contain the coronavirus pandemic. Covid19 has infected more than 480,000 people in florida and killed more than 7,000. Even with strict safety protocols in place in the states evacuation shelters, Health Officials fear the virus could spread further among the people inside with the storms full impact expected. In the coming hours the state has temporarily shut down the Virus Testing sites. Officials worried theyll see a new surge of cases once the storm has passed and testing resumes. Floridas governor says they should prepare for a week long disruption. Floridians should be executing their plans, particularly if youre on the east coast of florida, palm beach and north of there.
