The family of Darren Inglis, 29, said their “hearts were destroyed” by his death. Police were called to a report of a one-vehicle crash on the A90 Peterhead to Aberdeen road, south of Newburgh, at around 7.40am on Tuesday.

Pedestrian, 91, in two-car collision dies in hospital Published A pedestrian seriously injured in a collision involving two cars has died in hospital. The 91-year-old man was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness following the incident in Nairn on 21 January. Emergency services were called to the junction of Thurlow Road and Seafield Street at about 16:50. The 91-year-old man was not in either the red Mazda or black Honda which collided at the junction of Thurlow Road and Seafield Street at around 5pm. Sergeant Kate Park said: The pedestrian was taken to Raigmore Hospital for treatment for serious injuries. I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time of the crash to please come forward. If you have a dashcam, you may have captured footage which could assist our investigation.

Four injured after car crashes into building in Inverness

A 43-year-old woman and three men aged 32, 38 and 42, who were all in the car, were taken to the city s Raigmore Hospital for treatment. Police said the men had serious, but not life-threatening, injuries. The Mercedes E220 crashed into a former bookmakers at the junction of Grant Street and Lochalsh Road. The incident happened at about 21:10. The building was extensively damaged and the road remained closed on Friday to allow for a structural assessment.
