WILDWOOD - A burn victim was hospitalized after flames destroyed a 40-foot pleasure boat here Saturday morning, authorities say. A Wildwood firefighter also sustained a minor injury during the blaze, which was reported around 10:30 a.m. at Otten s Harbor on the 400 block of Dock Street. Arriving firefighters were told the burn victim had been taken to a nearby business, said a statement from Wildwood Fire Department.  It offered no details about the victim, who was flown to a burn unit at a Philadelphia hospital. The person was reported in serious condition Saturday. “Early into firefighting operations, the vessel broke free of its moorings and began floating east down Otten’s Harbor,” the fire department s statement said.
