ACTON, MA The U.S. News and World Report released its ranking for top high schools in the United States earlier this week, alongside rankings for each state.
Acton-Boxborough Regional High School ranked 17 in Massachusetts, out of 348 schools.
The methodology used for this year s ranking focused on six factors: college readiness, reading and math proficiency, reading and math performance, underserved student performance, college curriculum breadth and graduation rates.

WESTBOROUGH, MA The U.S. News and World Report released its ranking for top high schools in the United States earlier this week, alongside rankings for each state.
Westborough High ranked 28th in Massachusetts, out of 348 schools.

Despite its reputation as a state with some of the best academic institutions in the country, Massachusetts saw only three of its public high schools make it onto U.S. News & World Report’s list of the 100 best in the country this year.
On Tuesday, the education-ranking website unveiled its ″2021 Best High Schools” list, grading more than 17,800 public high schools throughout the country on how well each academic institution serves students from a range of social and economic backgrounds.
