return to work. last night a teacher from fairfax, county, virginia offered advice to concerned teachers and parents. don t be afraid to speak out for your kids because they are voiceless and they rely on you. you should be afraid of them learning socialism by the time they get to middle school. it seems our careers have come to a dead end. we don t work for the school board. the school board received a whole lot of feedback last night. the impact so far is unclear. trace. dana: let s bring in one of the teachers at the school board meeting yesterday. great to have you this morning. tell me what s going on behind the scenes. when the teachers are talking to each other what are they saying? thank you very much for having me first of all. there is mixed emotion. i believe most teachers do want the best for their students and for the families of these students. but at the same time there seems to be a divide.
bush and fantasy toward obama and hostility to trump and then now toward the biden/harris administration. it is absolutely inappropriate. they need to have the same criticisms and posture. people were complaining about the alleged reporter saying they voted kamala harris. everyone can tell that reporters voted for them. you shouldn t be able to see that. they should cover things of interest to the american people and pressing them when things aren t going well. we don t have a media capable of having that discussion or doing anything other than praising kamala harris or joe biden. trace: things aren t going well at the border that s for sure. molly hemingway, great to see you. thank you. dana: emotions running high at a loudon county school board meeting last night. more than 100 people showed up
that school board meeting last night. many people defending tanner krause and his reinstatement. some defending their right to have things like critical race theory taught in the schools. here is just a quick sampling of what we heard last night. the longer you wait and hold schools accountable your physical mental and emotional health. we sent a message to parents and teachers that if we dare voice dissenting views, we will retaliate. that is what tyrants do, not public servants in a free country. we all have the right to place student happiness. john: school board meetings have traditionally been fiery, but this is week after week there. every two weeks, this has become a must-see tv. every two weeks, a new hero is born not get out there and delivers a passionate speech
