Apple product users are asking U.S. District Judge Nancy Rosenstengel to certify a class action against the tech giant on allegations that it collected and stored their biometric identifiers through the PhotosApp.
U.S. District Judge Nancy Rosenstengel ordered Apple to produce Vice President of Software Engineering Craig Federighi for depositions but denied a request for sanctions sought by Apple product users who claim their biometric identifiers were collected and stored through the Photos App.
The plan sponsor and its advisers proved they had conducted the appropriate due diligence in selecting funds and managing the retirement plan, the judge concluded.
