Schertz police officers seized a loaded gun and two knives from a Rose Garden Elementary School student on Tuesday, according to school officials and the Schertz Police Department.
The holiday period began Monday for some, but most city and county offices and services will be closed on Thanksgiving or maintain amended hours throughout the week.
