SAUGATUCK After being closed for more than a year, the Saugatuck-Douglas History Museum will reopen its doors to the public Memorial Day weekend. Then and Now / Snapshots from the Archives, an exhibit of everyday life photography over the years, will resume its showing. The exhibit was scheduled for display at the museum for the 2019 and 2020 seasons but lost its 2020 showing due to the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown.
The museum, located in the historic Saugatuck Pump House at 735 Park St., Saugatuck, opens for the summer season at noon Saturday, May 29.
The museum will be open from noon to 4 p.m. Friday to Sunday through June with tentative plans to open on additional weekdays as conditions permit.
