ShoreRivers has welcomed several new members to its Governing Board this year: Jill Bible, Linda Gaydos, Skip Ivison, Frank Lewis, Gene Lopez, Doug Mayorga and Janet Ruhl.
The departing Chester Riverkeeper, Trumbauer was toasted virtually during the Dec. 21 council meeting.
âCan you see me blushing through Zoom?â Trumbauer asked the mayor and council. âNow Iâve got a new holiday. This is great. This wasnât even on my bucket list, but it is now. This is fantastic,â he said in a moment of lightheartedness.
Mayor Chris Cerino read a proclamation thanking Trumbauer for his commitment to the health of the local environment and for his dedication to ensuring that the Chester River âcontinue to improve as an estuary that we all view, use and love daily.â
