In March 2020, NJFX’s Gil Santaliz was in São Paulo for Capacity Latam. It was shortly before flights were grounded by the pandemic – a move that would force him to leave the show early – but that’s not the point of his story. As luck would have it, while Santaliz was out of the country, he received a phone call to say Chile’s Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTT) was visiting the US and wanted to tour NJFX.
SEVIERVILLE â Since 1990, the Womenâs Care Center in Sevierville has helped members of the community facing unplanned pregnancies with support and guidance.
âWeâre a pregnancy resource center,â said Sarah Kurtz, the organizationâs executive director. âItâs a place women can come if theyâre facing an unplanned pregnancy or a hardship dealing with pregnancy and we just help support them and help them to make life-affirming decisions with their pregnancy and support them throughout. Weâre a pro-life center.â
The organization offers pregnancy tests, education, resources, referrals and peer-counseling â all free of charge. The office moved this year to a new location at 800 Park Road.
