At high school we found at the love support for lgbt appreciation week. It started when students did not like what they heard others say. The truth is, we were concerned about hearing words like you are so gay. One student decided it was time to educate kids how words are hurtful and came up with the idea of lgbtq appreciate week in san ramon. The administration sent an email about the curriculum some protested. They created a petition asking it only be a day, not a week.
