Update on clinical trials, award to Paula Zahn will mark Thursday Alzheimer s event

When the Alzheimer s Drug Discovery Foundation s Palm Beach Hope on the Horizon Virtual Event opens on Thursday, the buzz will be about exploring the ramifications of two clinical trials of drugs and honoring veteran Emmy-winning journalist Paula Zahn with the Hope on the Horizon Award.
Dr. Howard Fillit, founding executive director and chief science officer of ADDF, will lead a symposium featuring two researchers funded by the organization: Dr. Giacomo Koch, principal investigator and head of the Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation Laboratory at the Santa Lucia Foundation, and Dr. Ana C. Pereira, assistant professor of neurology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
