In another case, a vigilant jeweller in Malleswaram 18th Cross reported a suspicious individual attempting to sell stolen gold ornaments on October 22. The prompt action of the police resulted in the recovery of 122 grams of gold. A police official said, “Upon further inquiry, the accused had been involved in various theft cases earlier. There were 20 cases against him in 2014 in Sanjay Nagar, RT Nagar, and Vidyaranyapura police stations. There was even a house theft case registered against him in Girinagar police station.”
