CLARKSVILLE, TN – Clarksville Area Urban Ministries has a new executive director to lead the organization: Maggie Pearson. Pearson, who was selected after an extensive search and a review of several qualified candidates, has a breadth of knowledge in nonprofit management, marketing and grant writing, according to a news release from Urban Ministries. She is a native of California and has a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Fullerton. While in California, she worked with the National Charity League and most recently with St. Thomas Ascension Health. “We think Mrs. Pearson will bring her talents and expertise to our organization at an integral time of change for Clarksville Area Urban Ministries,” said Sandra Simms, board chairperson and acting executive director.
