The San Angelo Rodeo Association opened ticket sales for all performances of the 2021 schedule starting at 10 am this morning and it s no surprise to regular attendees of our San Angelo rodeo, tickets for the Cinch Shootout sold out within minutes. The finals or Short Go of the regular rodeo competition is held the night before and always sell out quickly as well.
The Cinch Chute-Out is always the final performance of the rodeo and has always been extremely popular since if was first held back in 2012. The Cinch Shootout features ten of the nations top cowboys featured in the events of Bull Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Bareback Riding, Calf Roping, Team Roping, Steer Wrestling and Women s Barrel Racing. This competition features the best of the best and for big prize money.
2021 Cinch Shootout Sells Out in Minutes
SAN ANGELO, TX – Chances of getting into the 2021 Cinch Shootout were thin as tickets for the final night of the rodeo sold out within an hour.
The San Angelo Rodeo Association announced tickets would go on sale for the entire rodeo schedule on Mar. 15 at 10 a.m. At 10:02 a.m. the link to purchase tickets went online and by 10:10 there were no side by side seats in the grandstand left to buy.
By 10:30 the seats for the Cinch Shootout were sold out.
There are still a number of tickets available for opening night that on Apr. 9. Other shows include X-Treme Bulls and the PRCA short go.
SARA Rodeo Championship Cook-Off Registration Now Open
The San Angelo Rodeo Association is proud to announce that the annual Championship Bar-b-que Cook-off is on for Saturday, April 10th, 2021 and the deadline for entering is fast approaching!
The Championship Cook-Off has been a very popular event which started in 2010 and is sponsored by the San Angelo Restaurant Association. You can check out all of the teams and pit areas at the South end of the 1st Community Federal Credit Union Spur Arena. You ll find it tucked between the Spur Arena and the old horse barn. You can easily find it by following your nose while the cooking is going on.
