Moral Maze panelist, is grimacing as he recalls the time, 10 years ago, when he seriously contemplated suicide.
“I remembering being in here” – we are talking in his parish church in London’s Elephant and Castle – “and thinking, ‘would I do it there?’” The 56-year-old father-of-five even imagined one of his parishioners, or his children, finding him.
