Last weekend, all eyes were on the much-anticipated No. 1 vs. No. 2 meeting between top-ranked UNC and then-No. 2 Syracuse. The game ended in a ‘Heels rout.
This weekend, you’ll want to have a few tabs open as UNC faces another formidable opponent in Notre Dame and conference play heats up around the country as teams look to bolster their tournament resumes.
No. 3 Syracuse and No. 6 Virginia Look to Bounce Back in the ACC
Syracuse bounced back from its first loss of the season with a win over Georgetown Tuesday. On Saturday, they’ll try to get back into the win column in conference play against a Virginia team that staged a late comeback in a loss to No. 5 Notre Dame last weekend. Ashlyn McGovern netted a hat trick for UVA in the game and is second on the team in goals (22) and points (25). Lillie Kloak scored twice against Notre Dame and leads the Cavs in goals (26) and points (29). Juniors Meghan T

Jonathon Thurston was on the receiving end of a hilarious April Fool s stitch up perfectly executed by Channel Nine s rugby league commentary team.
The NRL legend looked like a deer in the headlights when Thursday night football host James Bracey feigned being violently ill just seconds before he and colour commentators Thurston and Allana Ferguson were about to go live.
The team pretended they were returning after a halftime commercial break during the match between Manly and Penrith.
But the last minute walk-off meant the unprepared former Bulldogs, Cowboys, and Queensland star would have to take charge of the broadcast.
