Raw Deazy of Wellington’s Raw Collective is blunt when he speaks about the constantly evolving lineup of the group. “There’s no point in getting a band poster for the wall because it will be different in six months,” said Deazy. The much loved Wellington hip hop group might be a rotating door of musicians, but Deazy and his co-founder, guitarist and singer/songwriter Pauly Lowe, spearhead a disciplined writing/production process before throwing the songs open to the talents of the wider group.
