At halftime at ArenaBowl XXIV at the US Airways Center, Barry Wagner, George LaFrance, Hunkie Cooper, Eddie Brown, Darren Arbet, Sylvester Bembery, Sam Hernandez, Gene Nudo, Stevie Thomas, and Kurt Warner were announced as the Arena Football League Hall of Fame Class of 2011. Only five were expected to be selected.
The last two games for the Arizona Rattlers have been two of the greatest in league history. Arizona scored 70 points and held a double-digit lead early in the fourth quarter in each contest. Both were decided on the final play of the game with Arizona losing each time.

ADRIAN The streets of downtown Adrian are expected to be full and lively today and Saturday with two events.
Adrian Cruise-In Car Show and First Fridays
Beginning at 5 p.m. today, the first 2021 installment of the Adrian Cruise-In Car Show will line the streets of downtown as part of the monthly First Fridays event. The car show will be along North Main and Maumee streets and will run through 8 p.m.
No-charge registration begins at 4 p.m. Entrance for vehicles in the show will be at Church and Main streets. Hot rods, cars, trucks, rat rods, motorcycles and other vehicles are welcome.
When looking back over his 2020, featherweight Isaac Dulgarian ended up having the kind of year that most fighters only plan for but don’t fully realize.
After missing the first half of the year due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, Dulgarian got right to work in the second half of 2020, recording three straight victories to close out his amateur career undefeated.
“For me 2020 was an awesome year,” Dulgarian told MMAWeekly.com. “As soon as Covid stuff started happening and everyone was freaking out I had more time to put into my craft. The hardest part was finding fights, but I had three and they all went well for me, so 2020 was one of the best years of my life so far.”
It was cause for celebration for the Cooper City Optimist Cobras nation when one of their travel teams came home a champion from the Dimitri Cup Soccer Tournament. The Cobras B 2008 Red Boys Club went 4-0 to claim the U13 title at the Premier Sports Campus in Lakewood Ranches.
