Among the cases heard was a Letcher woman who failed to appear in court for charges stemming from her allegedly breaking into a Mitchell home and drinking a beer inside the residence.
The court proceedings wrapped up four criminal cases Cumings was facing out of Davison County, while multiple cases are still pending out of Aurora County.
Council President Kevin McCardle’s statement about running for mayor was met with a short and simple response from Mayor Everson, who said “get a petition.”
