NYC Mayor signed Introduction Number 134-A into law. New York City’s salary disclosure law will now take effect on November 1, 2022. Employers with four or more employees required to disclose salary ranges in job postings. Requirements apply to hourly, salaried employees.
The New York City Council passed Int. No. 134-A revising Local Law 32, NYC's previously enacted salary disclosure law. Bill must be signed by Mayor Eric Adams within 30 days. If he signs, the bill effective date would be pushed back to November 1, 2022.
