Little Rock organization hopes gun buyback program will help decrease gun violence UP NEXT
In Little Rock, gun violence for many people has been a concern and a top priority, according to officials with the Little Rock Police Department.
One local organization told KATV they are hoping to do their part in decreasing the violence with a gun buyback program.
The organization is called Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. The fraternity is a Black Greek letter organization that was established in 1914 on the campus of Howard University.
According to one member of the Little Rock chapter, Curtis Woods, the gun buyback initiative will be in a drive-thru setting at Emmanuel Baptist Church.
