First Bank, a fourth-generation family-owned bank, has appointed Jamie Moses to the role of chief financial officer. An industry veteran, Moses’ impressive career has included high-level leadership roles at several regional banks.
The top elected office in the village of Mount Morris is up for election on Tuesday. Incumbent Mayor Frank M. Provo is seeking reelection on the Mount Morris First party line. Heâs going up against former mayor and current village trustee Joel Mike, whoâs running as a Republican.
William Manthey and Timothy D. Bryant are running unopposed for village trustee positions. Both have been cross-endorsed by Democrats and Republicans.
For Manthey, his candidacy is all about doing what is best for the residents of Mount Morris.
âThe change in the community is my biggest concern and I want to make sure it is a safe community,â said Manthey, who holds a marketing degree in business from Saint Bonaventure University.
