They enrolled 146 so the question is whether thats a one year blip or if they have to plan for even faster growth. Growth is not new at this suburban cedar rapids district with College Community numbers increasing from about 35hundred students in 2002 to 56hundred todayy the district has typically built either a new school or a major expansion every five or six years. But the biggerthan expected growth has some here wondering if theyll nefd to speed up expansion to meet the needs in a nottoo distant future. I dont think you can say one year is a trend. A first step that happens sunday when minimum wages here will go up. That deadline isnt pushing the Tiffin City Council to make any fast decisions.
