UPDATE: Mango resumes flight as ACSA feud ends
It seems that Mango can take to the skies yet again, as the airline has seemingly resolved a dispute with Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) over a fees payment issue. According to Bloomberg, the low-cost arm of SAA came to an agreement with ACSA to make “a part-payment on what it owes and commit to ways to settle the remaining debt.” Bloomberg reports that the brief grounding is an indication of Mango’s “deteriorating financial position” – a sign of the struggling aviation industry amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. – Jarryd Neves
