In First and 10 my third Mock Draft explores what the Dallas Cowboys could do AFTER that first pick . plus the top 10 stories of the week ..
1. My Cowboys Mock Draft 3.0
It’s time for my third Dallas Cowboys 2021 7-Round NFL Mock Draft. My last mock, completed two weeks ago and built around the idea of taking Northwestern offensive lineman Rashawn Slater in the first round, is worth a read.
This one is similar, in that we’re going to build it around one player in the first round. This time it’s Alabama cornerback Patrick Surtain II, a player many have attached to the Cowboys with their No. 10 overall pick.
Broncoman 2021 Mock Draft 21.0 - Trade Back, BPA By Broncoman on Feb 24, 2021, 1:53pm MST +
I believe the value of this years draft is really from pick 30 to pick 100, while I would not be opposed to taking a QB at 9, I don t think any of the top four QBs will fall. That being said I still think the Broncos can take a shot at improving QB play by trading for Sam Darnold. I don t think Darnold is a finished product and I think he can be added for a conditional 2nd to 4th round pick in 2022. So here is my ideal scenario:
Feb 18, 2021
GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Green Bay Packers will be on the clock with their first-round pick in exactly 10 weeks. With needs at cornerback, receiver and both lines, not to mention salary-cap problems that could add holes to the roster, how will general manager Brian Gutekunst build upon a roster that reached the NFC Championship Game?
First round: Georgia CB Tyson Campbell
How do you replace 6-foot-3 Kevin King, who is headed to free agency? By drafting a 6-foot-2 corner. Not only is Campbell tall but he was a state champion sprinter in high school. He’ll need some coaching to maximize those tools after intercepting one pass and breaking up five in 2020.
