A La Jolla Shores home was broken into the night of Dec. 19, with the intruder helping himself to items in the kitchen and staying overnight on the property, according to the shocked homeowner.
Police did not say whether anyone was hurt in the crash.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. The Jacksonville Sheriff s Office has a warning for drivers on the city s Northside, where a crash has all lanes of Rutgers Road and Leonid Road closed.
JSO sent the traffic alert just before 11 a.m. Monday. Police did not say whether anyone was hurt in the crash.
