Through the project, the irrigation system in four districts of Đô Lương, Diễn Châu, Yên Thành and Quỳnh Lưu under the project’s component 1 has been upgraded, accommodating the total irrigation area of 28,801 ha, supplying water for domestic, livestock, industry and serving other purposes.
The forest coverage rate has been maintained at 42.02 per cent of the country’s area, and forestry activities have created jobs for about 5 million labourers.
