In a move that would dramatically reshape the east-end skyline, a Toronto-based developer has applied to build a trio of mixed-use highrises in Orléans that would include more than 1,100 residential units along with retail and office space.
The east Ottawa building that holds Ruddy Family YMCA-YWCA better known as the Orléans Y has been sold and the facility will be closing, local councillors say.
Coun. Matthew Luloff shared a letter from YMCA-YWCA of the National Capital Region President R.J. Gallagher, announcing the Orléans Y on Centrum Boulevard has been sold.
