Roy William Veal, 71, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, Dec. 20, 2020, at the residence.
He was the son of the late William Veal and Ruby Morgan. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Veal.
Roy was retired from Whirlpool, with over 28 years of service. He was a member of Covenant Baptist Church and was a veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his daughter, Angie Veal; two grandkids: Derek Chavis and Destyni Chavis; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers: Larry Veal and Gary Veal.
He was a great dad, brother and friend.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 1 p.m. today,, Dec. 23, 2020, at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services, Wildwood Avenue Chapel, with Pastor Gary Higgins officiating.
