LOWELL The proposed Rourke Bridge replacement has reached the 25% design completion milestone, and the price tag has been disclosed at a recent public hearing as $190 million. LOWELL The Massachusetts Department of Transportation announced this week that a nightly detour will be put in place for the Rourke Bridge to make repairs and ensure that the bridge continues to function while a permanent replacement is constructed.
IF THE COVID-19 pandemic taught anybody anything, it was that there is money in them thar hills.
