Lets look at the outflows to see what is coming out of etfs, and again, build shortterm treasury, there is another shortterm treasury. Efa, i think some of that went to ifa. That was a move to cheaper pastures. But ultimately, 25 billion has gone into u. S. Equity etfs this month and 44 billion into etfs overall in june. If the fed ends up cutting, it will probably be somewhat supported. We now know the fed has our back. Fed rate cuts probably stimulate animal spirits in the economy. It is going to weaken the dollar, which will help multinational companies. We get a bit of an all clear signal here that it will be fine. They want to sustain the expansion. Are we going to get gangbusters returns . No. But where you going to put the money . The fed feels it is an orchestrated market and that frustrates a lot of people. It does make you wonder, do you think the fed is trying to overengineer the economy . Especially the markets. You run with this and look at what markets can behave well.
