The Irish may have St. Patrick, but the Italians have St. Joe, or San Giuseppe, as this iconic saint is known.
And, just like the famous Irish saint, St. Joe’s Day is celebrated in March on the 19th, a Catholic feast day to honour the Virgin Mary’s husband, Joseph, who is also the patron saint of workers.
