concerted effort to make a political issue by some. and i join those who have called for looking into how is this opposition to the mosque being funded. now congressman, you re opposed to the mosque. you re a republican. how do you take that statement? i always see it as a threat by the speaker to try to intimidate people who are speaking out against the location of the mosque. i can take care of myself but i m thinking of the families, the family members like rosemary cane, jimmy boil, debra burlingame. these are people whose hearts have been broken by september 11th. that wound has now been torn open. will they have to face investigation by nancy pelosi somehow implying they re part of a conspiracy? you know the president and others are talking about freedom of religion. there is also a constitutional right of freedom of speech. and that s what these good people in new york are exercising, freedom of speech. they lost loved ones on september 11th and they want the world to know how

i think the real burden here is on the muslim leadership and imam at ground zero. the fact is they want to build a world trade center mosque. it does not belong this. they have the right to do and responsibility to realize a tremendous harm and hurt that they re causing so many people. i m getting calls from so many families in my district. the family members, jimmy boyle, rosemary cane, i can through the list, they lost very, very close family members and the imam, i don t believe is as moderate as they say he is, he says u.s. is assessry to 9/11 and paying his way around the middle east. and i think the president was wrong on friday night to bring the issue up and half the issue and now what he was doing. that imam now of course on a u.s. state sponsored trip to the middle east. back to the president. conservatives, republicans, tea party activists now want more government in a small are government.
