Charity Warns to Keep Easter Eggs Away from Dogs By Mike Gilmore Research suggests vets are twice as likely to see dogs with chocolate poisoning at Easter. Ireland s largest dog welfare charity, Dogs Trust, is reminding people of the danger posed to dogs by chocolate.  The charity is pressing upon new dog owners in particular to be mindful of the dangers of chocolate toxicity in dogs.  Recent research carried out by PJM Noble showed that vets were twice as likely to see dogs with chocolate poisoning at Easter.   With an excess of chocolate set to be lying around many houses this weekend, the charity is seeking to raise awareness of the symptoms that arise if a dog has consumed chocolate.

She s described as being 5 feet in height, of medium build with brown eyes and dark brown hair.  When last seen, she was wearing a black three-quarter length black coat, white jeans, a pink t-shirt, and white and pink runners.

Iarnrod Eireann unveil plans for new DART services By Alison O Reilly Iarnrod Eireann is doubling its capacity of train services in the greater Dublin area. The Dart Plus Coastal will benefit, not only the Drogheda line, but it will also build the capacity of up to 50% on the existing line, right through to Greystones. The plans will see the extension of electrification of the line from Malahide to Drogheda, and improvements along the existing DART line from Malahide/Howth to Greystones. Capacity along the Eastern Commuter Corridor will increase from 17,980 to 26,680 per hour each way, - that s a jump of up to 50%.

Dr. Ronan Glynn says that if being outside isn’t possible, people should physically distance and wear masks in the house. It comes as a further 411 new cases and 6 deaths were reported yesterday. The numbers with the virus in hospital has dropped by 18 in 24 hours to 272, while there is 64 in ICU. Dr Ronan Glynn says if people are mixing in the coming days, they should avoid doing it inside: The advice to people will be that you can meet up with other households outdoors for recreational purposes.
