But just up until a couple of minutes ago they were still going through these homes putting out hot spots. The fire marshal is still on the scene investigating tonight. We were able to speak with the woman who lives in the home where this fire started. She was downstairs just before 7 00 oclock tonight waiting for a friend to pick her up and take her to church when she smelled smoke and her soninlaw went upstairs to investigate. Her upstairs bedroom was filled with thick black smoke. Thats when they got out and left 20 years of memories behind behind.
