The Providence Day girls, winners of the NCISAA D1 title, took top honors in the girls rankings while the Cuthbertson boys, winners in the NCHSAA 3A, were also No. 1 and followed closely behind by 4A champ Millbrook at No. 2.

New Rolesville head coach Ranier Rackley is on his way to Jacksonville to coach with the Jaguars throughout their organized team activities period. Rackley was the only high school coach selected into the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship program out of 5,000 applicants.
