NCIP, partners provide livelihood assistance to IPs in Zambales

SAN MARCELINO, Zambales, May 11 (PIA) National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) teamed up with various national agencies and the local government for the provision of livelihood assistance to Indigenous Peoples (IPs) in San Marcelino, Zambales.
They launched the IP Culturally Responsive Socio-Economic, Agro-Aqua Technology, Ecology and Special Services (IP-CREATESS) through Integrated Ancestral Domain Development Approach (IADDA) of the Ayta Indigenous Cultural Communities (ICCs) of sitio Pawen in barangay Aglao. Dubbed as Project Alapaan, this IP CREATESS IADDA is a convergence mechanism for the Ayta ICCs to engage other development stakeholders and partners, NCIP Regional Director Roland Calde said.
