But after a pep talk from head coach Jesse Soulia, the Panthers made a big comeback and won 26-14 for their first victory of the season. Local roundup: Patience pays for Windsor softball Kate Murphy Modified: 5/1/2021 10:25:59 PM WHITE RIVER JUNCTION Patience proved to be a virtue for the Windsor High softball team on Saturday. The Yellowjackets (3-2) combined seven hits with 15 walks and used them to earn a 19-3 win over Hartford in a five-inning Southern Vermont League softball contest at Hartford High School. As for the hit parade, Hannah Wood, Paige Kleefisch and Kate Murphy led the way by driving in three runs apiece. Wood and Murphy both went 2-for-3, and Kleefisch delivered all of her RBIs with a three-run homer in the third inning.
