Cathedral of Our Lady, Antwerp This Gothic building built between 1353 and 1533 replaced an earlier Romanesque church on the site. Its 405-feet-high (123 m) north tower was completed in 1518 and was intended to be accompanied by a second, which was never built further than the main roof level.
