There’s always so much to talk about when it comes to the Pittsburgh Steelers. But the inquiries surrounding the black-and-gold are definitely ever-evolving, especially this week with the Steelers watching a future Hall of Famer retire, the courting of another and the 20th anniversary of the demolition of a legendary home. Those three happenings make me think of the Pirates’ anthem from 1979 in so many more ways than one.

I can’t believe it, but it has been 20 years since the old concrete structure that was Three Rivers Stadium came crumbling down in a heap of rubble. The home of both the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Pirates, which housed so many memories, was gone in just seconds.
