The interactive water feature, a major part of the childrens play area located in Bitts Park, sustained considerable damage to its electric and mechanical systems in February. This damage was brought about by the flooding caused by Storm Ciara on February 9, which caused the Rivers Eden and Caldew to burst their banks significantly.
