A San Luis Obispo Superior Court Judge ruled last night that San Luis Obispo County officials can use the redistricting map they adopted in December for this year's elections, despite a legal challenge to the map from a nonprofit.

A San Luis Obispo County Superior Court judge on Wednesday night approved the county's redistricting map to be used in the upcoming elections after a citizen's nonprofit group had filed a requested an injunction on the map.
Following a lawsuit filed in attempt to overturn the San Luis Obispo County district map adopted by the Board of Supervisors at the end of November, SLO County Judge Rita Federman said she will issue a decision on a possible injunction "no later than the end of the day (Thursday)."
