From this February, Aussies can register for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) inaugural national Dance for Sick Kids fundraiser.
The week-long dance challenge will take place from May 15 to 21, raising money for seriously ill and injured children and their families across the country.
By pledging to dance between 30 and 120 minutes per day for one week, all funds raised will go back to those in need.
You can join local teenager Katie Everett as she prepares to raise funds for the charity that supported her family through a three month stay at Ronald McDonald House in Hobart after she was born prematurely at 26 weeks. Katie’s goal of fundraising $320 will help to cover the cost of two nights for one family to stay at Ronald McDonald House.

Richard William Shorrock, age 69, of Shelton entered into rest on January 5, 2021 in Bridgeport Hospital with his loving family by his side. Rick is the devoted husband and soul-mate of 39 years to Andrea Ruffalo Shorrock.
He was born in Derby on October 16, 1951 son of the late William and June Cawthra Shorrock and was a lifelong Shelton resident. He was a Master Carpenter and business owner who shared his knowledge with all in the valley even beyond his retirement. He was known and loved by many people and everyone he encountered enjoyed his company. Rick touched the lives of everyone he came across and developed many friends and relationships. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam War.
