Just last week we had this further opening of restrictions in terms of what american businesses can do down here in terms of hiring cuban employees and opening offices. This is something pope francis helped broker and achieve. He also has his own agenda. Cuba has a tenuous history when it comes to religion in this country. Priests were driven out and Church Property was confiscated. Part of the agenda has been to get the Catholic Church as more of a bigger part of cuban life here.
