- Jacob Bronowski, Mathematician Biologist Why are up to 30% of all Americans vaccine hesitant  and/or “ vaccine resistant to the scientific/medical progress offered by the COVID vaccinations? In 2021, why are Americans politically polarized over the issue of utilizing safe vaccines that will save countless lives  and create a natural herd immunity barrier  or stopping the cyclical spread of COVID-19.  Dr. Benjamin Franklin is well known in American History as one of America’s Founding Fathers, and as a brilliant statesman, author, politician, inventor, and scientist. Protecting American democracy is in our nation's future after Jan. 6

Protecting American democracy is in our nation s future after Jan. 6 | For What It s Worth Richard Weintraub, Esq. Human nature will not change. In any future great national trial, compared with the men of this, we shall have as weak and as strong, as silly and as wise, as bad and as good. Let (America)… learn wisdom from and none of them as wrongs to be avenged.   Abraham Lincoln (in the context of The American Civil War of 1861 to 1865)   2020 and 2021 will be considered crucial years in American history, during which we answered two essential and key issues.  Is Donald Trump a clear and present danger to America s democratic values and republican form of government? The answer: A definite yes after Jan. 6: A day of infamy in American history, after the first insurrection incited by a sitting American president, during a term in office, to prevent the peaceful transition of executive power.

Truth and consequences | Moving Mountains

Truth and consequences | Moving Mountains Anthony M. Stevens-Arroyo The United States faces a moment of reckoning for truth and its inescapable consequences.  Arguably, Donald J. Trump left our nation with smoldering ashes of doused but not yet extinguished flames of rebellion. While history will likely deliver justice against the out-going president, his departure does not automatically repair a shredded social contract.  Tens of millions of Americans of both left and right have lost faith in our electoral system and our rules for economic fairness. This is not a sudden or passing phenomenon that began with Trump, but the bitter harvest of decades of racially tainted political disenchantment. President Joe Biden inherits these consequences, and just as a boil has to be lanced to drain its infection sedition requires swift and compelling punishment.

An open letter to the 46th president of the United States

An open letter to the 46th president of the United States | For What it s Worth Richard M. Weintraub, Esq. In our winter of death, despair and discontent, America entered a new era of hope, optimism and promise on Jan. 20, 2021.  A plea for national unity and common understanding of America’s democratic traditions and values, and bipartisan politics: “I pray Heaven to bestow the best of blessings on this House and all who shall hereafter inhabit it. may none but honest and wise men ever rule under this roof.” A prayer carved into the fireplace mantle of the State Dining Room in the White House by president John Adams in 1800.
