After four years under Donald Trump, the presidency turned over to a Democrat-led administration Wednesday with Joe Biden sworn in as the country’s 46th president. In response, the senators and representatives from Massachusetts praised Biden’s day one executive orders and shared sentiments of hope, healing, and hard work.

Nearly every member of U.S. congressional delegation from Massachusetts is calling for President Donald Trump to be removed from office after pro-Trump rioters stormed the Capitol Wednesday in a brazen bid to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
Placing blame for the riot squarely on Trump, every member of the delegation except Rep. Stephen Lynch publicly called for Trump to be removed either by the 25th Amendment or impeachment.
Calling the situation dangerous & unacceptable, Rep. Ayanna Pressley said impeachment should happen immediately.
U.S. Rep. Richard E. Neal, D-Springfield, who represents Berkshire County in Congress, says he is safe amid the crisis unfolding at the Capitol, after pro-Trump protesters broke through barricades and entered the building.

Pressley, Moulton Call For Trump s Removal After Extremists Overrun U.S. Capitol

As pro-Trump extremists began to recede from the U.S. Capitol late Wednesday afternoon after overrunning the building, Rep. Seth Moulton, D-Mass., called on President Donald Trump to be removed from office.
