South Africa Under-23 team complete successful training camp in eThekwini
1 April 2021- The South African under-23 National team
have completed a one-week training camp in eThekwini.
The camp which was funded by the KwaZulu-Natal Department of
Sport and Recreation is part of the preparations for the delayed Tokyo Olympics
now scheduled to take place in Tokyo, Japan from 23 July-8 August 2021.
Going into the camp, under-23 coach David Notoane had stated
that the camp was important in enhancing technical understanding, assessing new
players to see how they adjust as well as what each player had to offer to the
team.
The eThekwini camp commenced on Monday 22 March 2021 with

Mamelodi Sundowns have handed debuts to 14 players so far this season and one of their latest has now opened up on his ambitions with the club.
Gift Motupa became the one of the latest players to make his Sundowns debut when he came off the bench in the club s 2-0 win over Chippa United at the end of last month.
The 26-year-old, who arrived from Bidvest Wits at the start of the season, had been sidelined through injury after earlier surviving a serious car accident from which his limited edition Golf 7 GTI TCR was written off.
