Revvie awards. thanks for watching! have a happy holiday season. we ll see you next year. this sunday, the climate crisis. brace yourself for dangerous heat. the drought we re in is disastrous. we ought to be worried about it. about everything we own was destroyed. this is the eye wall with the strongest winds. the average temperature could be anywhere from 2 to 11 degrees. you can see how intense the flames are right now. the garden of eden just turned into the gates of hell. the evidence is everywhere.
Clemens, this young navy man in mobile, alabama. with he see hate crimes, brutal killing of jewish seniors in pittsburgh. yet, with voting rights and civil rights and other things this year still front and center i still have hope. because i saw thousands upon tens of thousands of americans come out and stand up against those crimes. and vote and say no matter what you do, we re going keep coming. and we must keep coming. nothing but sustained indignation will put this nation on a course that is fair and just. we must be indignent about those that would misuse a country that offers so much to so many but not to all. that does it for me. thanks for watching. don t miss next week our eighth annual revvie awards.
my grandma used to tell me this. she was involved in politics in new jersey. she always used to say, you want to be right or do you want to win? winning tastes better than being right. and democrats have gotten a taste of winning in 2017. i think that that will subsume a lot of the authenticity battles come 2018, because people realize, you don t have to be the first candidate to win. my mom used to say, don t get the big head when you win. and i hope the democrats don t get the big head. that does it for us. we had a lot of fun. i would like to thank our panel. they ve all been terrific. we ve got to go. so cue the orchestra! happy new year! i look forward to 2018 with more discussions, more debates, and another chance to bring you the revvies. announcer: you ve been watching the 2017 revvie awards
